Mounting and installing the FBUIS-B on Picatinny
The FBUIS-B is a matched front-and-rear flip-up iron set from Ozark Armament. The Amazon listing ships a hex screwdriver for the Picatinny clamps. This guide sticks to that hardware and the published specs—no torque-wrench fantasy numbers, no claims beyond the listing.

Install steps
- Clear the rail. Make sure the Picatinny section is free of burs and that you have empty slots where the recoil lugs will drop.
- Place the rear sight toward the receiver end so you get a full sight radius without blocking charging handles or ejection (platform-dependent).
- Drop the lug into a slot, then snug the clamp with the included hex driver. Firm is enough—do not round the screw.
- Place the front sight forward on the handguard or gas-block rail so front and rear heights match when both are flipped up.
- Cycle the flip mechanism several times. A drop of light oil on the pivot helps if the detent feels stiff out of the box.
- Confirm fold-flat clearance under your optic before you leave the bench.
After install
- Zero windage and elevation at the range (see a dedicated zeroing guide if you need the click process).
- Re-check clamp screws after the first range session; aluminum holds well, but first-shot settling is normal.
